Those early newborn days are a blur of feedings, snuggles, and sleepy stretches. You're probably running on coffee and love. I’ve created a relaxing, baby-led newborn photography experience that takes the pressure off you and makes sure you walk away with images that you’ll treasure forever.

My Approach

My in-home studio is located just 20 minutes from Bend Oregon. It is designed to be calm, warm, and welcoming.

  • Fully stocked studio: I provide all wraps, blankets, outfits, backdrops, and props.
  • Clean & safe: Everything is washed and sanitized between sessions.
  • Certified in newborn safety: Your baby is in safe, experienced hands.
  • Child-led approach: I follow baby’s cues and work around their needs, never rushing or forcing poses.

I had a lot of anxiety and caution to book a photographer, but I’m so glad we went with Kayla. She won’t push a baby just to get a photo, which I really appreciated.

Sweet Beginnings

$500

This session focuses fully on your newborn. We work at their speed and will do wrapped poses in different set-ups, along with detail shots, because we know those newborn features change all too fast. 


  • 15 images (beautifully hand-edited images from your session- you choose the images included)
  • 1.5 hours of unhurried, baby-led time
  • Baby-only portraits focusing on natural posing, beautiful details, and wrap styling.
  • Payment Split: $250 retainer to book / $250 due the day of your session.

Little Wonders

Most Popular

Perfect for families who want to be included in the photos with their newborn, or just hate the idea of having to choose which of your newborn images are included. You will get the portraits of just your newborn, but you also have the option to have a small family session included so you can remember how small they felt in your arms.


  • The Full Digital Gallery (beautifully hand-edited images from your session, typically 30+ files).
  • 2.5 hours of unhurried, baby-led time.
  • Includes parent, sibling, and full family portraits, alongside the individual newborn setups.
  • Payment Split: $395 retainer to book / $395 due the day of your session.

The Keepsake

Everything that is included in the Little Wonders package is also included in this package. Plus, this package ensuring your baby's first moments are both digitally preserved and tangibly celebrated in your home.

  • The Full Digital Gallery (hand-edited high-resolution files, typically 30+).
  • 2.5 hours of unhurried, baby-led studio time, including full family setups.
  • Custom 4x6  Print Box beautifully holding a set of professional prints from your gallery.
  • Payment Split: $475 retainer to book / $475 due the day of your session.

How to pick your date

  1. Choose a date about 7–10 days after your due date. This just holds your spot on my calendar, and it’s completely flexible.
  2.  Once your baby arrives, send me a quick message and we’ll decide together if we keep that date or adjust it based on how you’re both doing, when your baby arrived, and how old they’ll be at the time.
